It all started with a visit to the local market, buying vegetables on the list made by a mother.

And then came a thought that why these cart vendors and the ecosystem partners who should be supporting them are still in such a state of disarray.

Why can't they have it easy too?

Fresh produce in Bharat is broken.

The cart vendor ecosystem — that accounts for over 90% of FnV retail flow — is utterly fragmented and inundated with inefficiencies and outdated practices.

Procurement

Waking up at 3am, going to the mandi outside the city, and after finishing the arduous task of procuring the stock they have to get it to their sale station or home for staging and sorting.

Credit

Small & medium cart vendors don't get much short-term credit for procurement. They have to resort to local independent lenders, charging as high as 60%-100% interest rates per annum.

Selling

FnV being a commodity doesn't provide them with much differentiation. This is where we come in with our vendor programs to give them the modern edge they need, and households crave.

Our Mission is simple.

Well, it does sound simple, execution at scale is anything but.

We are digitalizing the largest last-mile network for FnV in India; enabling the cart vendor/sabziwala community via a full-stack platform and aim to revolutionize the way our veggies are brought in the market, sold, and then enter our fridge.

For a not so simple mission, we need a lot of help and we found it in the form of our backers, advisors and many good folks who are kind enough to help and engage with us.
